Demodex Mange Is Not Contagious
The reason why it is very important for your animal to be treated by the vet is because Demodex mange is a little different than its counterparts. You need to rule out whether or not the mange is contagious because if it is, you will need to pretty much quarantine the dog. This type is not contagious but it will drive the animal crazy with the itching so, the sooner you can get him to the vet, the better off he will be.
